Snowy Mt. Rainier Couple’s Session | Kari + Rob | Mount Rainier Elopement Photographer

Couples like these two are the reason why I love what I do. There is nothing that makes me feel more humbled and blessed than photographing two people who really value their photos and time together.

Kari + Rob booked last minute because they wanted to have some moments captured before Rob left on deployment. There was nothing that could stop them from making this shoot happen. From terrible weather forecasts, to getting called into work at midnight and a late night ER visitfor pneumonia, they still made it to their shoot with smiles on their faces showing me how much they were willing to do to have sweet moments captured together.

We drove out to Mt. Rainier where they had their first date and to our surprise, the weather man predicted wrong and we ended up with a stunning day. Taking photos in the snow and 20 degree weather isn’t easy people but it didn’t phase these two. We literally climbed over a pile of snow taller than all of us for some epic views. Such a humbling day and a little fun in the snow.

Rob is currently out at sea and while I’m sure Kari is missing him dearly, I love knowing that she has these sweet memories and photos to cherish. Come home quickly Rob! THANK YOU both for reminding me why I love what I do.

These couples photos at Mt. Rainier are beautiful! As much as I’m ready for warm weather, the snow and mountains are so pretty! I think it’s awesome they decided to capture these before he deployed – and love her gold sparkle dress!

  2. Corey says:

These are gorgeous and this couple looks like so much fun! I love that they braved the snow for their session and that they had these done before his deployment! ♥
