Welcome to the blog! I’m a small-town Florida girl and Army wife relocated to the Seattle Suburbs, documenting love from one coast to the other. I live for a good PNW mountain breeze, sweat pants, and local eats. Let's be friends!
There’s so many words I could use to describe baby Mav’s birth story but the word that comes to mind the most is family. The amount of love for Meghan as she labored was unlike any other birth I’ve captured. Some of my favorite pictures from that day are the looks of concern from friends and family who labored along side with her. It was surreal to see Meghan and Trevor, two sweet and playful people I’ve gotten to know the past few months, become parents. I am so happy I got to be part of their support group welcoming Mav to the world. They were complete rock stars and I have no doubt that their little boy will be showered with love, fun times and family. Meg’s delivery was pretty incredible. I’ve never seen as many people in a delivery room as hers but I think that’s what made it so special. Every person present (including the medical staff) anxiously awaited their sweet boy’s arrival. This was my third birth captured on JBLM at the Madigan Army Medical Center and each time I’m there, I’m so incredibly in awe of their staff. Every nurse, mid-wife and doctor impress me equally as much as the one I’ve came before them. I am so thankful to be part of an army family where there’s a facility so caring for their patients and that my clients are well taken care of.
Welcome to the world baby Maverick. This is your birth story!
