You can capture memories with ease, confidence, and authenticity. I’ll be your guide. When you decide to forge your own path and plan an adventurous session? You need someone to come alongside you and create a step-by-step plan so that your session is intentional, low key, and a dream come true.
Just like you, I’m in it for the in-between moments, stolen glances, wholehearted laughs, and epic views. My goal is to capture all the raw and authentic memories that you’ll treasure while helping you savor your quick get-away and completely forget you’re in front of the camera.
Taking photos can be genuine, natural, and true-to-you.

First up, contact me! Having a general timeframe and location can be helpful but don’t worry if you’re still in the dream phase. We’ll set up a time to connect and go over your vision for your day- I’ll give you some of my best tips on how to start planning your best adventure yet.
Ready to book? We’ll finalize your date and I’ll send over a contract to officially welcome you to the MMP family! You’ll receive access to your personal client portal and exclusive elopement planning resources. I’m all about making things simple so you’ll receive step-by-step details, answers to frequently asked questions, and fun ways to make your session entirely unique.
Once you’re feeling a little more established in the location options and vibe for your session, we can hop on the phonte to reconnect and solidify a game plan. You’ll walk away from our time together feeling confident in what to expect!

Our experience working with Megan was a dream! I’m from out of state so when I began the search for an elopement photographer from Washington I wasn’t sure where to start. Megan photographed our destination Hawaiian elopement. The pictures were TO. DIE. FOR. Megan has a gift of using the natural light and scenery to create the dreamiest pictures you’ll ever see. It is evident from Megan’s portfolio that she is an incredibly talented photographer and as such, having Megan capture our Mt. Rainier elopement was a no brainer. Whether you’re choosing an exciting destination to run off and get married at, relocating to a new area or simply traveling back to your hometown, I would be so honored and more than thrilled to travel and capture your special day. I'll work with you to determine the best package for your needs. We often create custom packages for our Destination couples. Destination weddings include a personalized travel quote - just to strictly cover a direct reimbursement of travel expenses. There is no cost associated with my travel time as documenting love stories in different locations is a passion of mine. The biggest questions I get: What do the travel costs include and how do the logistics work?
Travel Details :
+ Airfare for Megan - I’ll book at a peak time to get the best rates.
+ Airfare for a second photographer (optional). If you choose to have a second shooter, I can bring along one of my trusted associates with just the additional cost of their airfare OR I can find someone experienced and local to the venue to work with me. Your timeline will be slightly adjusted based on if the second shooter is someone who I have previously worked with. This decision is completely up to you!
+ 2-3 nights lodging. Three nights are only required if flight times are not available early enough to be present at requested rehearsal dinners.
+ Transportation - rental car + incidentals
Logistics : I'll do a little research and send you a ‘generous’ travel quote. Once the ideal booking time rolls around, I’ll take care of all reservations and update your invoice as I do - hopefully knocking off a few of those dollars. All that is required is a direct reimbursement. If you have group lodging or have rented out a facility, I’m happy to stay anywhere you would feel comfortable staying yourself and being one of the fam!
SHOULD YOU WEAR?
I'm here to help you every step of the way while you prep for your session!
Listen, I know it can feel like an impossible task to pick out what to wear for photos. You suddenly feel like you have nothing to wear, but chances are everything you need is already in your closet! Here are a few guidelines I’ve put together so you can be sure to look your best, while still making sure the images are focused on your love, not what you’re wearing.
Full disclosure, I'm no fashion expert. I’ll be the first to admit that it’s easier for me to help others than it is myself and I barely meet society's standards on a regular day. I wear mostly athletic clothes and Birkenstocks with socks people so chances are, you're doing alright. Keep in mind, these are only guidelines, not rules. The most important thing to me is that you guys feel and look like yourselves, so you can look back on your photos and know that was you in this phase of life. I'll take care of the rest!
