I hope you’re prepared for some Wintery wedding detail goodness! After growing up snow-less (thanks, Florida!), I really wanted to create an inspiring and fun styled winter shoot! I met Brooke, the wedding coordinator with The Detailed I Do, one day for lunch and the ideas just starting flowing for a Swiftwater Cellars Wedding. We were completely excited to expand our reach and try for something a little new and different! The team we worked with was incredibly talented, and we got to create a final look that all were passionate about. We connected in the community to let the participating vendors bring out passion and expressed what each vendor is known for. I was completely surprised by all the creativity from various creatives and loved getting to take in all of the details, just as I would if I showed up at a client’s wedding!
Brooke mixed eggplant with navy for a moody jewel-toned feel, creating a perfect contrast against the white snowy environment. A winter Swiftwater Cellars wedding is completely unmatched as the grounds and venue are just breathtaking. You have to see it all!!!
Rachel (Hair and Makeup) and Leah (Florals) worked together to create some floral hair pieces that made a statement. One of my favorite shots from the day was of the two of them working together.
I was so ecstatic to work with everyone for this shoot but was completely honored to partner with Brides for a Cause. They recently opened a location in Tacoma and I absolutely love supporting charitable wedding missions. They are a non-profit that receives donated and/or used dresses. All of their profits go to Cash for a Cause which financially supports a variety of local and national nonprofit organizations. Not only are their dresses completely affordable, but they are also stunning and have some awesome name brands!
So cheers to some winter wedding decor inspiration! Hope you enjoy! 🙂

Oh this is just lovely! Swiftwater cellars made a gorgeous backdrop for a sophisticated and moody winter wedding. I especially love that invitation suite and the copper accents!
