It’s days like this one that not only remind me why I love being an elopement photographer, but why I was made for it. Every decision, every couple, every little detail…it’s all been built, created and grown with intention. It what allows me to connect, guide and capture the raddest couples, just like Krystyna and Pat. Their Hurricane Ridge elopement is one that I’ll remember forever.
Their day looked like…
A slow morning in a rad Airbnb right outside Port Angeles. Casually getting ready along the water. A private first look where they could include their pup. A giddy drive to the trailhead. A dreamy hike among wildflowers and mountain tops to a destination you’ve never seen. Handwritten vows as the sun sets around you. Cake. Champagne. Moonlight giggles. No expectations, no rules, no rush- just going with the flow and letting the day unfold.
At one point as I was walking behind Krystyna and Pat, I overheard them say…”This is better than we could have ever envisioned.”
That’s what your day should feel like! AND- if we just so happen to hike back down under the moonlight, I won’t complain. Thank you, Krystyna and Pat, for just being you. Thank you for being present with each other and allowing me the honor or documenting your perfect day!
As much as Krystyna and Pat wanted a private elopement at Hurricane Ridge, they also wanted to make sure Apollo was part of their day. After all, he did play a big roll in ensuring this day would happen!
