I have the BEST friends. I fell upon this styled wedding last minute from an awesome photographer friend – Erin! She invited me to the local House of Flynn chapter who were hosting a styled shoot just to get together and have a little fun. There is nothing like shooting with zero-pressure in a creative environment!
Erin and I headed up to Seattle, not really sure what to expect, and were pleasantly welcomed by other amazing creatives. I’ve never really photographed in a traditional “fall” environment as Florida is green mostly year round. Shooting in dead underbrush and wilting apples was so inspiring and I love the look the muted colors fall bring. Even though this was a styled shoot, the couple below was recently married and in fact not models. They were so sweet together and so photogenic.
Washington is simply beautiful all year round for completely different reasons. My hope is that Pacific North West brides will consider a fall wedding after seeing how stunning this state can be during that time of year. Enjoy friends!
Random fact: I had never seen an apple tree until I moved to Washington. Totally did a little freak out the first time!
I am so thankful to have gotten to participate in this collaboration with other artists to promote community over competition. Thank you #HoFtribeWA.

Welcome to the blog! I’m a small-town Florida girl and Army wife relocated to the Seattle Suburbs, documenting love from one coast to the other. I live for a good PNW mountain breeze, sweat pants, and local eats. Let's be friends!
