I’m fairly certain everyone within a mile heard me squeal when I received Sergio’s inquiry for a fall proposal to his high school sweetheart. Road-trip turned engagement? I think so! After trying to plan the perfect location from Arizona during a tricky weather season, we ended up deciding on The Rockwood Farm – one of the most beautiful Airbnbs in North Bend, Washington. Driving up to photograph their proposal, I was surprised to see how many tourists had heard about this beautiful property and were lining the streets for photos. Just as a disclaimer – you have to stay at this Airbnb to access the property or take photos there and Sergio was lucky to get a last minute reservation!
To help pull off the plan, when Sergio and America were heading down the road, Sergio decided to pull off and “have someone (aka me) take a cell phone picture for the two of them. I played my role as the random property guest, took the photo, turned around and pretended to walk away while Sergio got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him!! SERIOUSLY! HOW EXCITING!! We did a mini-engagement session and I probably scared the two of them with my enthusiasm. I still feel that giddy looking at all the color! It was such a welcome change to my normal scenery and I don’t think their fall proposal and North Bend engagement session could have been any more perfect!
Congratulations you two! May you have the most AMAZING wedding and life together!
