Give me a sweet couple and some wildflowers and I could literally take pictures all day long. Who says you have to be engaged to have photos taken with your loved one? Couples photos and anniversary sessions are some of my all-time favorites to capture! I had been stalking the purple flowers you’ll see below (alternatively known as purple things but technically as “foxgloves”) since the moment I first saw one peep through a field. To me, the look like something out of a Dr. Seuss book and are ridiculously fun to take pictures in minusssss all of the bees that find them appealing. I’m actually quite surprised I walked away without a sting or two!

Anyways, Noelle and Josh were so much fun to take pictures of and I’m so happy we were able to make it to the foxgloves before they disappeared! Between these two’s sweet subtle touches and Noelle’s contagious smile, I was in photog-heaven. We frolicked through some random fields on the Lacey / Olympia side of town and laughed the evening away! Some of my favorites of these photos, are the candid ones taken during “in-between” moments. Don’t get me wrong, I love a perfectly crafted photo as much as any photographer, but for me, there’s nothing that quite compares with those genuine smiles and the way he looks at her. So, Noelle and Josh, thank you so much for letting me capture your love. I had a blast and can’t wait to see all the adventures that come your way!
