This Olympic National park engagement session at Lake Cushman is one that I’ll always remember. There are certain couples and certain stories I’ll never forget. It’s no secret that the last two years have been hard for so many people and for so many reasons. For those wanting to get married and celebrate with their friends and family, it’s meant waiting. Matt and William have been waiting two years, and I cannot until the day they get to stand in front of their friends and family and say their “I Do’s.”

In the meantime, we had fun planning their engagement session! Matt and William are from Colorado and traveled to Washington for their session and really just wanted stunning views. We looked through the location guide (available to all MMP couples!), they chose the place that spoke to them, and we started planning their engagement session! We could not have asked for a more beautiful sunrise at Lake Cushman. From every direction, the views were stunning!

I sometimes forget how much I love engagement sessions until I am in the midst of one with a new couple. I love getting to hear their story, get to know them, and see their personalities develop. That’s exactly what this morning was and so much more. The love that these two share is so sweet. I don’t think either one of them could have smiled any bigger. We laughed, they climbed rocks, took in the views, and I tried to keep it together behind the camera!

I seriously cannot wait for Matt and William’s wedding this summer at Sanders Estate. It’s been a day they’ve been dreaming about for years and I cannot wait to celebrate with them!
