Justine and Jeff are such a sweet couple and were complete troopers when it came to braving the snow. We held the styled wedding at Swiftwater Cellars in Cle Elum. It’s part of the Suncadia resort area which has several different venue options.We chose Swiftwater cellars because of the multitude of options this venue offers, the fact that it has a gorgeous backdrop, and because it’s just so darn cool! The venue was a whimsical wedding paradise and I could photograph 5 weddings there and they would all look completely different!

While this was one of the most fun and “no pressure” shoots I’ve done in a while, it was also one of the most challenging (photographer flo-wise). Cle Elum got a ton of snow the week before the shoot but the couple days prior to the big day, it warmed up a bit and all of the snow and sidewalks iced over. We were constantly watching our steps trying not to slip and fall. We took a couple of hard hits but for the most part, everyone managed and I feel all the more prepared for next time! The weather kept playing tricks on us too…just keeping us on our toes ya know! Talk about a Florida girl out of her element.

I love how all of the little details fell into place.
