It’s no secret that I love a good adventure engagement session and often drive 2-3 hours each way for each session. But you know what? Tacoma has a few hidden gems too with great PNW vibes and incredible views. One of my favorite places to go is Five Mile Drive in Point Defiance Park. It has TONS of amazing little spots for those of you who might prefer a Tacoma engagement session and not drive for ten years! The best part? You can get the forest, the sound and maybe even see a glimpse of Mount Rainier at Owen Beach.
I started off Brittney and Bryce’s engagement session saying, are you ready for an adventure?! The funny thing was, I didn’t know it was going to involve SO MUCH LAUGHING, splitting my pants, dancing in the fallen leaves and splashing around in the freezing NOVEMBER water. And you know what? I’m ok with that.
If you follow me on Instagram, you already know the obsession I have with these two. They are just so easy to love! And their love…well, there’s no denying it! The way they look at each other, the smiles on their faces…all of it reminds me of why I fell in love with documenting love in the first place.
Seriously though, I am so excited for Brittney and Bryce and cannot wait to document their Cedar Springs wedding next summer!
