Emily + Jacob are an incredibly beautiful couple from the inside out. They met at a church event in D.C. and quickly fell in love. Their family is local to Seattle and it seemed suiting to have their wedding celebration here. There are sometimes key phrases potential clients say that clue me into knowing that we may be a good fit for one another and when Emily wrote the following words to me, I knew I wanted to capture their beautiful day. She said, “We love your work and appreciate your sharp images that capture life as it happens. We really want to see the energy of our guests through the photos, especially to see those little moments that we were unable to see at the event.” I can’t wait for them to see their gallery and know that we captured just that. LDS wedding coverage beings just after the marriage ceremony takes place inside the temple. It is tradition for the families to gather outside to welcome the couple. Family photos were extremely important to these two, so we threw a few extra into their blog post!
Thank you Jacob + Emily for letting me tell your story and be a part of your wedding day.
And here they come!!
Did I mention I counted 7 brides taking photos at the Temple? Talk about a popular wedding day and some magic photographer skills to avoid the crowds! 😉
Mom worked hard on getting their reception ready!
Probably one of my favorite “performances” at a wedding. I had so much fun watching these siblings sing and dance in honor of the newlyweds.
