The Sanders Estate Venue in Kent is 35 acres of tranquil PNW beauty gardens surrounding a stunning 1100-year-old craftsman mansion. Most of the original features that made the Sanders Mansion such a unique and modern home in 1910 have been maintained or restored. It’s the perfect combination of southern vintage elegance and outdoor beauty. Surrounding the mansion, are vast opportunities for your wedding day. There are stunning open grounds, gardens, a private lake with a fountain and more. The options are endless!
Have you dreamed of an outdoor wedding but afraid of the unpredictable weather Seattle can bring? Don’t worry! Whether you are having a more intimate wedding or hundreds of wedding guests, Sanders Estate offers several options for your both your ceremony and reception – to include large, beautiful white tents with concrete flooring. Sanders Estate is also one of the few outdoor Seattle Wedding Venues to offer planning, coordination, and rentals (tables, chairs, dance floor and more) on site the day of your wedding.
After your ceremony and spending some time celebrating at your reception, I always encourage my bride and grooms to take a moment, step away from the celebration to just be with one another and truly soak in those early moments as husband and wife. One of my favorite areas on the grounds is the private lake and fountain area. If you’re up for it, they even have a small boat available for portraits!
