Mount Rainier Adventure Session

Courtney + James were so much fun to take photos of during our Mount Rainier Adventure Session. Between the two of them, the beautiful green, summer wildflowers and of course the mountain herself, I was in complete photographer’s bliss. Waking up at 4am to take these photos at sunrise was worth every minute.

Courtney is a sweet photographer friend and fellow military spouse. We met over coffee and talked for hours and I new we would be friends from there on! I loved getting to capture photos of them that really showed Washington’s beauty before JBLM decides to send them off to another new home!

Whether your looking to have a mountain top elopement, engagement session, anniversary photos or simply just a couple’s shoot, Mount Rainier National Park is the place to do it! There are so many endless spots to choose from. Had I lived in a state this beautiful growing up, that definitely would have been the route I went! Each location can look completely different based on the weather and I just love the variety it can add to photographs. We found this beautiful spot thanks to a friend’s recommendation and I found myself drooling out the window as we made our way to the west side of the park. Fun Fact: Mount Rainier Ascends up to 14,410 feet above sea level and is still considered an active volcano. I’m not so sure how I feel about that last part!!
