There’s something to be said about really feeling the connection between an expectant husband and wife. Every minute I was with these two for their maternity session, I could feel the love and joy between them. I absolutely can’t wait to capture their baby boy’s birth this month!

We started their session at Alder Lake near Mount Rainier National Park. I’m pretty sure their photoshoot took place on the sunniest, warmest day in Washington and Megan was a complete trooper. We wondered around the lake and left right before dusk so we could hit an open field I saw driving out to the lake. It was the absolute perfect location to capture the two of them with the beautiful mountain showing off behind them. Maternity photos are so special, as couples bond before welcoming their newest family member.
