Rehearsal Dinner | Taylor + Elias

I was so excited when Taylor told me she wanted me to also document their rehearsal dinner at Alderbrook Resort on the Lady Alderbrook. If I’m being totally honest, I’ve really wanted to photograph a wedding at the Alderbrook Resort but I think being able to enjoy Lady Alderbrook, might have taken the cake!

Rehearsal dinners are sometimes overlooked and not something most think to have photographed and are typically exclusive to my destination wedding clients, but it can be such an exciting (and hopefully relaxing!) time with your closest friends and family. Taylor and Elias were going to be traveling back to Washington from Florida so I knew this extra time with their family and friends meant a lot to them. Plus, who doesn’t want a whole weekend of events versus just one day?!

The Lady Alderbrook was the perfect place for Taylor and Elias’s rehearsal dinner. In some ways, I felt like I was back in Florida but it still felt like Washington too with the views of the Olympic Mountains and Hood Canal.

Taylor and Elias, from your St. Augustine engagement session to celebrating your marriage here in Washington, it’s been an honor to see your love story unfold and document it along the way. I cannot wait to share your wedding on the blog tomorrow!
