Lake Crescent Elopement | Lorissa + Aeron

Filed in: Elopements

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I loved this Lake Crescent elopement, and even more importantly Lorissa and Aeron. After a year of postponed weddings and elopements, I’m so happy for my clients, and to be able to document it is just such an honor. A lot of people are still struggling in one way or another and I’m just so thankful my job circles back to love every single day.

Lorissa and Aeron’s elopement was a sweet reminder of why life is so beautiful. Their closest friends and family were able to join them here in the Olympic National Park and all said “it’s about time!” Lorissa and Aeron told us that their loved ones wanted them to be together since the day they met and comment on how they became genuine friends before they became a couple.

We could not have asked for a better day to celebrate these two. Kate with Tapestry Event Co. coordinated and put together a dream team of vendors to make sure Lorissa and Aeron’s Lake Crescent elopement was everything they dreamt of. The day was truly about them. They took in every moment, they laughed, they danced and committed to a lifetime of doing the simplest to the most adventurous of things together.

What made you fall in love with the other person for the first time? Can you describe that moment?

Lorissa: This is rather a difficult question to answer. For me I can’t just pick a single moment. Several moments made me fall in love with Aeron. I have been through some pretty rough times in
the years that we have known each other. Aeron has been there for me for all of the ups and downs. His selflessness and kindness has made me slowly fall in love with him.

Aeron: I don’t really know when exactly I fell in love with Lorissa. It kind if happened without me realizing it. I looked up one day and realized I couldn’t imagine myself with anyone else. The three
things that come to mind when I think of what made me fall in love with her are her smile, her nurturing spirit, and her determination.

If you had to pick just one thing that you love the most about the other person…what would it be?

Lorissa: This first thing that comes to mind when reading this question is the word selflessness. Aeron is the most selfless person I know. He puts me before himself without even a second
thought.

Aeron: Picking one thing I love most is hard, but if I had to pick something it would be her presence. Just being around her, hearing her voice, or seeing her smile.

What are your favorite things to DO as a couple (what activities do you enjoy together)?

1. Travel – we are hoping to do more traveling this year.
2. Nap – we both work long hours so we enjoy good naps.
3. Cooking – we loving trying new recipes together.
4. Binge watching shows on Netflix.

If you had a free day where you could go and do whatever you wanted, with no limits, what would you do together? Describe your perfect day.

On a beach eating delicious food enjoying each others company. We would fly to LA ( we love Manhattan Beach), rent a beach house, get Veggie Grill take out, and hang out at the beach all day.
