I have been anticipating Erica and Joe’s Maplehurst Farm Wedding since their engagement session at Deception Pass. I seriously adore these two and their Brady Bunch family. Their day was so special with meaningful moments planned throughout the day that had me tearing up left and right! Maplehurst Farms was absolutely perfect for them and I discovered that I have a mild obsession with corn fields. 😉

Erica and Joe took so many moments throughout the day to soak in the moment with each other. It was evident not only how much they cared about each other but how much they cared about their family and friends. There were a lot of sentimental moments throughout the day and some rather funny ones that definitely caught me off guard. You’ll have to keep on scrolling to see what I’m talking about!

Congratulations Erica and Joe! Your day was as sweet and genuine as the two of you are. Cheers to you!

Yes, you are seeing that right. Just before the ceremony, Erica pulled her son’s tooth! I might have had a moment of panic and feared the worst….blood all over the bride’s dress…but alas…we were successful and mess free. 😉

Erica chose a non-traditional walk down the aisle and it was so special. She wanted her brothers, father and step-father to all be included while walking her down the aisle to her groom! 





Erica and Joe took the time to speak to each of their children. The way this family has come together is truly special! 






After Erica and Joe said their vows and exchanged their rings, their friends and family all put something special in a time capsule that Erica and Joe will open on their one year anniversary. I’ve never seen anyone do this during a ceremony and I love how thoughtful and sentimental it was. 

During the ceremony, Erica and Joe’s family and closest friends all gathered around for a prayer circle. You could tell what this moment meant to all of them and again…I was tearing up. No surprise there!
