When the Army moves you across the country, it’s only fitting that you have your family portraits taken in your new backyard! As an Olympia Photographer, I am pretty sure that we have the best backyard, the Olympic National Park! But really, all of the Pacific Northwest never disappoints! These two’s kiddos are stinking ADORABLE. I mean, they are melt your heart adorable. I loved watching their sweet personalities slowly open up during the session as we played simon says and made our best “train” noises. I can’t wait to watch them grown and am so thankful to have connected with another sweet military family.
Jana reached out to me before they hit the road and I knew that when I got to take her family’s photos, that it was going to be epic! She wanted a session that “screamed Washington” and I think we accomplished just that. 😉 There’s something to be said about a client that just “trusts” your vision. In reality, Jana and I bonded over both being Florida girls and marrying military men but other than that, we were two strangers destined to meet when she arrived. She didn’t personally “know me” but as we planned the session, Jana mentioned multiple times about “trusting” in me and allowed me to plan their session based on the vision she described and the crazy fall weather we often work (down to the hour) around. It’s simply amazing when things work out that way and the enthusiasm she expressed after receiving her photos simply confirms that the process works.
Thank you Kyle, Jana, Parker and Sophie for brighten my day and playing around the mountains with me!
