I got to reconnect with the absolute sweetest hometown friend. Getting to meet her new little family for the first time completely warmed my heart. Sometimes there’s people who just amaze you with their kindness and I’d have to say, Katie is most definitely one of them! In honor of her little girl Blake’s first birthday, we did some sweet family photos at Point Defiance.

If you haven’t been to Point Defiance, it’s pretty amazing! Not just for photoshoots, but also for the average person or tourist. There’s lush rose gardens, ponds and streams, a Japanese gardens, beach fronts, overlooks and a ton of hiking trails. Owen beach is packed with drift wood for the perfect lounging spot on a hot summer day. They also have a zoo and aquarium that I’ve yet to make it to!

We had so much fun taking family photos and I’m pretty sure Blake did too! So happy birthday sweet girl! Today is your day!
