Amanda and Mychal’s Tacoma backyard wedding was a true labor of love. From refinishing their backyard for the perfect ceremony location to the help of friends in family, this labor of love is what brought their wedding day to life. So much forethought, planning, time and energy went into their day and I’d say, it was all worth it! I am not sure it gets more personal or intimate than being able to walk out into your backyard every day knowing that’s where you committed your lives to each other. Crying yet? If not, you will be!
Also in Amanda and Mychal’s backyard (okay not literally this time) is downtown Tacoma. We ventured over to the Tacoma Museum of Glass area for their first look and wedding party portraits before heading back to their home for their backyard wedding ceremony and reception. I love that I have had a chance to photograph these two in different areas around Tacoma. We did their engagement session at Point Defiance. No matter the location, these two and the way they look at each other is just magical.
Congratulations Amanda and Mychal! It was such an honor to be part of your wedding day. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness you two!
