Seattle Intimate Wedding Venue | Liz + Jake

When the day starts off with more cats than people, you know it’s going to be a good day! Seriously though, Liz + Jake had the PERFECT intimate wedding at the Volunteer Park Conservatory. If you are getting married in the greater Seattle area and looking for an intimate wedding venue, the Volunteer Park Conservatory should definitely be at the top of your list! I’ve been dying to photograph an intimate wedding ceremony there and was so excited when Liz originally reached out. Their wedding was simple, yet beautiful – perfect for celebrating Liz and Jake! Afterwards, we headed over to Seapine Brewing, one of their favorite local spots, for a relaxed reception. I mean, who wouldn’t want to hold their reception at a place where they know their name and can truly feel like themselves!

I loved how genuine and relaxed each part of Liz and Jake’s day felt, allowing them to truly soak in each moment. These two made the day their own and it couldn’t have been more perfect. They had every person in the room tearing up as they read their vows out loud. In case I haven’t mentioned it recently, this always makes your ceremony feel more sentimental and is one of my favorite parts of the day. One thing I really love about these two is that they don’t let the little things phase them. A small drizzle during their first look didn’t stop them from taking in the moment of just being together before their ceremony.

Liz + Jake, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day! It was absolutely amazing to see the love you share and I couldn’t have been more honored to have been there!
