Oh I could talk forever about these two given that Sierra and I have been friends, roommates (twice over) and business partners. We met in middle school but really became friends later when she transferred to the high school I was attending. I’m pretty sure we’ve been inseparable since then and have the easiest friendship that can possibly exists. We grew up together, traveled together, and went through excitements and heartaches together. For years, I couldn’t wait until that day that I got to do something a little special for her given all that she’s done for me.
I knew Matthew was special from the start. There was something different in the way she spoke about him and when she told me about their first kiss, I knew he was the one. After living with them for a year or so while my husband was gone for training, I can honestly say they are PERFECT for each other. Matthew has this special gift of really connecting with people and is so genuinely thoughtful. Not to mention he’s pretty crafty and I can dig that. 😉 I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to get to know the man marrying my best friend on more than just an occasional get together. I know that he will always treat her the way she deserves to be treated. He might not have always enjoyed having to share her with me at the house BUT, I do know that cooking dinners and baking sweets had to have made up for some of that. 😉
Matthew and Sierra are tying the knot in December and I’m so honored to be in their wedding party. Our good friend Sara from SO Photography joined in for their adventure engagement session and it was a complete blast! Sara and I shot from different angles to give Sierra and Matthew a large variety in their photos. She captured some of the epic wide shots at the springs. So stunning! I can not wait for their wedding, to be home and enjoy the outdoors for an entire weekend with some of my favorite people. Plus, I’m pretty sure their wedding pictures are going to be EPIC considering who is photographing them. You’ll just have to wait and see!! 😉
Sooooo, thanks you two! For being you, for being in my life and I am counting down the days until your wedding!
Welcome to the blog! I’m a small-town Florida girl and Army wife relocated to the Seattle Suburbs, documenting love from one coast to the other. I live for a good PNW mountain breeze, sweat pants, and local eats. Let's be friends!
